Alec is the creator of Alec's Animations (go figure) and also has a few roles in his own videos. Alec runs the camera when filming majority of the time. He hates having to be away from the camera when filming a video. When he himself has to be in a scene for whatever reason, he always dreads not being the one to capture the shot.

Alec is also the Director of all of the videos however, frequently the cast will come up wih ideas that Alec didn't think of himself. So some of the time he'll use their idea and do what they're talking about, but he always makes sure that it's captured by his camera in a way that will please him. 

He is also the editor of all the videos. After shooting and capturing all the footage, he brings it back and edits it all. He'll use a few of his own animations, but also finds royalty free stock footage special effects from other sources as well. The music he edits with is mostly not his own. Virtually all the music he uses is either movie soundtracks or regular songs one would hear on the radio.

Alec is also a Co-producer with Jesse Murray. While Alec does much of the organizing and planning over Facebook, he always runs things by Jesse first.
