Sambo
Sambo was born in August of 2006. We just say his birthday is August 15th. Sam is a mix between a German Shepherd and Border Collie. We brought him home to New Brunswick from a farm in Ingersoll, Ontario.
He is a very sweet, gentle and kind dog. However, he can get pretty vicious if we tell him to or get him rowled up and playful. Which is what we do to get him to look so vicious in some of his videos.
Sam is in love with the entire family. There isn't just one master. Sam loves the outdoors like most dogs do. We own a wood lot that he loves to play and run around at. That's also where we filmed some parts of Bleeding Winter.
Sam actually loves cats, and his feelings get hurt if the cat doesn't like him. Sam has a rainbow of emotions. If one of us goes away from home even for an hour, he freaks out and becomes sad for a while. If one of us is gone over night or even over a week, it appears that he gets depressed and we always have to cheer him up.
Not only that, but he is a highly intellegent dog. He understands virtually everything one says to him.(Other than silly things like, "Did you think Obama made the right move on that last situation?" "Woof!" "I thought so".)
